Hyderabad Durgam Cheruvu Bridge Construction Completed: The Capital City of the youngest state of India Telangana’s Hyderabad is all set to inaugurate it’s first Cable-Stayed Bridge Across the Durgam Cheruvu Lake and it is going to connect the Madhapur and Jubilee Hills.
The construction cabling works for the bridge were launched by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner M Dana Kishore on the 9th of March 2019 and it finally ended on the 04th of December 2019.
According to reports, the Durgam Cheruvu bridge is 238 meters. long and it is supported by the 53 Key segments. The installation of these segments finally finished on Tuesday.

The bridge is constructed on a whopping budget of Rs. 180 Crore. After the inauguration, it is gonna help the people traveling from Madhapur to Jubilee Hills thereby saving the time of the people who basically belong to the IT and various companies situated in Madhapur and Jubilee Hill.
As of now, small work like lighting facilities and railing works are being done at the Durgam Cheruvu Bridge Site. The lighting services are provided by the City-based company and the railing works on the both sides of the bridge are being done with the help of a Chinese company.
Special safety measures are been taken up to avoid any mishappening, Once completed, this bridge will be the 3rd largest in the world and will have the longest span in the country. The current longest span is constructed across River Narmada, Gujarat.
